The first guitars to be branded 'Kimbara' were high quality instruments made by Japanese luthiers and commissioned for the UK market by Fletcher, Coppock & Newman (FCN). These early Japanese models (FCN later commissioned guitars from other Far-Eastern countries) have become very collectable. This guitar is structurally sound and just shows a few signs of use/wear as you would expect from a vintage model. It is a wonderful lightweight and mature instrument and a delight to play.
